Custom Paper Sizes in MS Word
You may choose from several different properties for customizing the size of your printouts. There are four properties you can change. These properties are called Alignment, Base Size, Margins, Color and Color. In addition, there is an optional third property, that is useful if intend to use multiple copies of the same document.
To open the Customized Paper Properties dialog box, press the right button.(You may also find this button in your printer’s main menu.) There are four options under Alignment: Center Right Fit, Offset, and Home. You can change the location of your personalized paper by choosing one of these options.
For more information on custom paper sizes and their effect on printing, refer to ” Printing”, and then “Settings”. You will see the word “Population settings” at the bottom of the window. The numbers in this text indicate the number of people in your market who will be exposed to your advertisement. Click on the appropriate number to modify the settings. Enter the values and then click OK to alter the settings.
Alignment This is the central point of page placement. Microsoft Word is actually set to determine the position of your text based upon your current window position. The numbers in the upper left corner show the alignments you can apply to personalize your document. There are three alignments available: Home, Center, and Offset. Click on the appropriate number to alter the alignment of your document.
Drop-down lists: You can alter the color scheme of your personalized paper sizes by selecting the drop-down menu below the scale option. The list is comprised of solid and dotted colors. The scale will automatically adjust to the color you pick when you choose it from the list. To change the color scheme, click on the color you wish to use and then click on the OK button.
Two-Column AutoShaper: This allows you to fit your document in the perfect 2-column format using the 2-column autoShaper. To do this, click on “semble” next to “flows”. The “flows” tab contains a variety of handy features, including custom page size control, page centering, alignment tools, and justification. To utilize these tools, all you have to do is click on them and they will be altered. To alter the layouts, click on the “link icon”.
Preset Colors – In older printers, you may have to manually enter the desired color for each page. However, newer printers let you set a custom paper size from various preset colors. Click on “color” to access the color palette. A color selection will appear. Click on the appropriate color to change your color selections. To return to the color palette, click on the “back” button.
Changing the paper size setup in your printer driver should be simple and quick. These tips will allow you to navigate the various options and settings your printer driver can provide. Modifying your paper information setting can make sure your documents are appropriate in size for your computer.
The Print Server dialog box will open and display the following options Current paper settings, which will display all of the custom sizes of paper currently in use. Double-click “current paper size” to display the current set of sizes, as well as their numbers in the essays you can buy online range you prefer. The number you choose will determine the maximum and minimum size of your document can be. Select the “stretch tab” and enter a number that is between 0 and 9.
To update your paper size information, click “print” from the main menu, then click print settings. An update dialog box will pop up. Click “OK” to update the printer’s configuration. Then select “print” from your main menu and then click the print settings tab. You will see a new list of options.
You will need to open the Print Server dialog box once more and click the “add button” and enter a number between 1 and 9 and click “ok.” Before you click the “apply” button you can alter the settings from the current setting. In a few moments you will be able to select a variety of sizes that you can customize, and all of them can be used in your document. If you feel that this is too difficult, or if you want to reduce time by using only one document that has different dimensions, you can always choose “set number of spaces” and select a convenient size within the range you entered in the previous step.
